4/2020 - Rights of Working Women (Private Sector) - The Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources has released their Working Women Bill of Rights notice. The new notice reflects the rights of working women including, among others, protection against employment discrimination based on sex, equal pay, and protection from sexual harassment and domestic violence in the workplace. The poster revision date is April 9, 2020.
06/2018 - Employee Rights - The Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources has released an Employee Rights notice. The notice summarizes employee rights related to pay, breaks, child labor, exempt employees, and Christmas bonus. The notice is required effective July 15, 2018.
06/2018 - Disability Insurance - The Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources has released a Disability Insurance notice, or SINOT. The notice establishes a government-administered benefit program for disabled employees as a result of non-occupational illness or accidents. The notice is required effective July 15, 2018.
06/2018 - Puerto Rico Social Security Law - The Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources has released a Social Security Number Law notice. The change is related to the Breastfeeding and Lactation Period Act, which allows time periods for breastfeeding and lactation in the workplace. The poster revision date is June 6, 2018.
